Santa Muerte Devotional Candle

Santa Muerte Devotional Candle

Created with care and respect, these Santa Muerte candles offer a meaningful addition to your altar or devotional space. Each candle is handmade at The Burnt Raven from 100% farm-fresh beeswax, with gold accents highlighting the folds of her hood and sculpted details.

Measuring approximately 4” tall by 2” wide, these candles may be kept as altar decorations or lit during prayer, reflection, and personal devotion. Choose black, green, or red to complement your practice and intentions.

Choose Your Color

🖤 Black — Protection & Baneful Workings
Associated with petitions for protection from harmful influences and spiritual attack. Black may also be used in baneful workings, including hexing, depending on the devotee’s practice and intentions.

💚 Green — Justice, Abundance & Money Workings
Associated with justice, fairness, and petitions involving legal matters or disputes. In some practices, green is also used for abundance, financial growth, and money workings.

❤️ Red — Love & Passion
Associated with love, passion, relationships, and matters of the heart.

Color associations can vary among devotees and traditions. These descriptions offer general guidance for your personal devotional practice.

Fire Safety & Candle Care

Remove all packaging and trim the wick to approximately ¼” before lighting. Always burn upright on a stable, nonflammable, heat-resistant dish large enough to catch melted wax. Sculptural candles may drip or burn unevenly.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, dried herbs, fabrics, and other flammable altar decorations. Keep the wax free of debris, and never move the candle while lit or while the wax is hot. Stop burning when approximately ½” of wax remains.

A Note from the Maker

While I create these Santa Muerte candles, I do not claim to be a devotee or to speak on behalf of those who are. These candles are offered in response to requests from clients who have shared their encouragement and personal blessing for me to create them. I approach this work with care and respect for Santa Muerte and those who honor her, offering my craftsmanship to support their personal devotional practices.
