The Burnt Raven — Pre-Ritual Handwashing Soap (4 oz)
The Burnt Raven — Pre-Ritual Handwashing Soap (4 oz)
Across so many paths and practices, there’s a familiar “before” moment—washing the day off your hands before you touch your tools, your candles, your altar, your offerings. Some people cleanse with a pinch of salt, a dusting of cinnamon, or handfuls of herbs to reset their energy and step into ritual feeling clear and intentional.
I’ve always loved that idea… but as someone who’s really bothered by certain textures, I never enjoyed rubbing raw salt or loose herbs directly onto my hands. So years ago, I made myself a solution: a proper cleansing soap with the traditional ingredients worked into it—so you still get that grounded, pre-ritual feel, without the gritty sensory experience.
What it is
A whimsical raven-shaped, 4 oz bar poured into a mold using a gentle goat’s milk melt-and-pour base, with ritual-friendly botanicals and salt blended throughout.
Ingredients & scent
-
Goat’s Milk Melt & Pour Soap Base
-
Activated Charcoal (the only colorant, for that deep raven black)
-
Lavender • Sea Salt • Cinnamon • Rosemary • Sage
-
Essential Oils: Lavender + Sage (no fragrance oils)
The scent is intentionally soft—only essential oils are used, so it’s not overpowering or “perfume-y.” Just a clean, herb-kissed wash that feels like a quiet reset.
How to use (pre-ritual suggestion)
Lather, breathe, and let it be a threshold moment—washing away the day, clearing your hands, and stepping into your working with intention.
Notes
-
Each bar is handcrafted and may vary slightly from batch to batch.
-
For external use only. If you have sensitive skin, do a small patch test first and discontinue use if irritation occurs. Avoid eyes and broken skin.

I’ve been eyeing this soap for a while, love it!
Beautiful, handcrafted pre-ritual soap!! I love this soap. If you’re going to buy it (which i suggest you do!) Get yourself two of them because you're going to want to keep one as a display!
