The Burnt Raven
The Lavender Familiar Scrying Mirror
The Lavender Familiar Scrying Mirror
A shadowed garden of bone, bloom, and stone, The Lavender Familiar Scrying Mirror is a one-of-a-kind altar art piece created around a deep black 5” obsidian scrying mirror. At the crown rests a cat skull, surrounded by raw amethyst points that appear to grow from the bone itself, with a purple-flash labradorite cabochon set at the center like a third eye catching hidden light.
On either side of the mirror are carved moss agate feather wings, with a moss agate crescent moon resting below, grounding the piece in earthy green veining and lunar symbolism. The corners are filled with preserved florals, including lavender, galax flowers, and fig slices, woven into a dark bed of moss for a woodland-witch, relic-from-the-veil feeling.
This piece is meant to feel like a familiar’s altar portal—protective, mysterious, and quietly watchful. A striking display piece for a divination space, ancestor altar, shadow work corner, or gothic botanical wall arrangement. Finished with two wall-hanging hooks on the back for easy display.
