The Burnt Raven
The Veiled Grove Scrying Mirror
The Veiled Grove Scrying Mirror
A woodland altar piece for shadow work, reflection, and lunar devotion, The Veiled Grove Scrying Mirror is built within a 15” x 10” x 1.5” distressed wood frame, giving it the feeling of an old relic found tucked away in a moonlit forest shrine.
At the center rests a 4” obsidian scrying mirror, set within a striking triple moon configuration. The two crescent moons are carved from lace obsidian, creating a dark, layered contrast against the preserved botanical bed surrounding them. Preserved moss, lavender, and eucalyptus weave through the frame, adding texture, depth, and an earthy ritual feel, while green and yellow agate leaves bring in grounding woodland color. Along the top and bottom edges, clear quartz crystal points frame the piece like a crown of frozen light, adding brightness and intention to the dark reflective surface.
This piece is designed as both functional altar decor and wall art, perfect for a sacred space, divination corner, shadow work altar, or witchy home display. The obsidian mirror may be used for scrying, meditation, ritual focus, or simply kept as a darkly beautiful devotional piece.
The back includes two wall hooks for hanging, allowing it to be displayed securely as a statement piece.
Because each component is arranged by hand, small variations, textures, and natural imperfections are part of the charm and make this piece one of a kind.
