Created for the season when shadows lengthen and the boundary between worlds grows thin, The Watcher at the Veil is a dark ritual oil crafted to stand guard at the threshold.
This protective blend may be used to strengthen spiritual boundaries, ward away unwanted energies and spirits, and safeguard your space during divination, ancestral observances and spirit work. Anoint your candles, ritual tools, warding objects, doorways or the boundaries of your sacred space before scrying, reading tarot, working with a pendulum or carefully reaching beyond the veil.
Sweet almond and vitamin E oils carry a woodsy blend of birch, juniper, rosemary, elderflower, elderberry, cedarwood, mugwort, yarrow and hyssop. Each ingredient was chosen for its traditional associations with protection, purification, spiritual cleansing, heightened awareness and guarded communication with the unseen.
Obsidian chips rest within the bottle, lending their grounding and protective energy to the blend. Edible black luster dust creates a dark, swirling shimmer when the bottle is gently shaken—as though a shadow has been captured beneath the glass.
Each 2-ounce square glass bottle is prepared by hand. Natural variations in the herbs, stones and appearance of the oil make every bottle slightly different.
A Once-a-Year Release
The Watcher at the Veil emerges only during October and is available in a limited quantity. Once this year’s bottles have sold out, the Watcher will retreat beyond the veil and will not return until the following Samhain season.
Ingredients: Sweet almond oil, vitamin E oil, birch, juniper essential oil, rosemary, elderflower, elderflower essential oil, elderberry, cedarwood, mugwort, yarrow, hyssop, obsidian chips and edible black luster dust for color.
