KRAMPUS 1/1 special edition

Krampus has come down from the mountain for Yule, and he’s not here for carols. This 1/1 special edition art doll is a collaboration between The Burnt Raven and Witches & Whimsey, created as a singular keepsake for lovers of winter folklore and witchy decor.

Standing about 12" tall on a 6" wide base, Krampus is made of corn husk and rich black fur, cloaked in deep red robes lined with red-dyed fur. His snarling face is finished with real ethically sourced coyote teeth for tusks and real deer antler tips for horns, giving him an unmistakably feral presence. The wooden base and staff are both hand–wood burned with juniper sprigs, horns, and hoof prints, as if he’s just stomped his way out of the forest. At his feet, he stands over a scatter of real eucalyptus leaves, pine cone bits, and maple leaves.

In his right hand, he carries a hand-burned wooden bell staff wrapped with leather, fur, and eucalyptus leaves, formed into a circle around a large brass bell with smaller bells and chains that jingle when moved. In his left hand, he holds a leather and chain whip for the truly naughty. On his back rides his sack of misbehaving children: a lovingly crocheted basket by Witches & Whimsey, filled with “children” bundled in chiffon ribbon, ready to be carried off into Krampusnacht.

There will never be another doll made exactly like this one—he is a 1/1 special edition Krampus, an original art piece created by The Burnt Raven for Yule.
